SUSHIRRITO California is the land of the burritos and the birthplace of the infamous sushirrito, aka everything that’s good about sushi wrapped up in a burrito body.

DISNEYLAND CHURROS The happiest place on earth, and their churros will make you the happiest person on earth.

FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH The sandwich is worth the wait! Enjoy it best outdoors at a sidewalk table. The perfectly breaded chicken is both plump and juicy, with coleslaw balancing the fried flavor. Crisp cabbage, jalapeno, red onion, and parsley add spice and crunch.

COBB SALAD The cobb salad is a delicious compromise for people who don’t feel like eating a salad but still want to get in their leafy greens. FRENCH DIP Don’t get thrown off by the name. The French Dip sandwich is an American classic that originated in sunny Los Angeles. The sandwich is simple with thinly sliced roast beef and piled generously inside a French roll that has been dipped in beef jus from the meat-roasting process. When it comes to a melt-in-your-mouth French Dip sandwich, there's nothing more famous than the original French Dip at Phillipe the Original in Los Angeles. This iconic eatery has been a part of the SoCal restaurant scene since 1908. After you take your first bite of one of their sandwiches you'll see why this place is so famous.

CARNE ASADA BURRITOS & CARNITAS BURRITOS You can’t eat around California and not get your hands on a burrito! Most are mammoth in size and come complete with chunky pico de gallo, fresh guacamole and refried beans.

MEXICAN FOOD Anyone who has ever lived in SoCal then moved away will tell you the one type of food they miss the most is Mexican food. It's true that you can order Mexican food anywhere in the country, but it's never as flavorful and authentic as what you can find here.

APPLE PIE One of the most famous pie places in California, the Julian Pie Company grows their own apples and retains the original traditions from when they first started, making it a cozy, homey place to grab a slice of pie. Though based out of Julian, you can now find their pies in San Diego and Riverside as well.
